Obituary of Edward Higginbotham, Jr.

Edward “Eddie” Dean Higginbotham, Jr., 64, husband to Annette Howell Higginbotham for 42 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2020. Mr. Higginbotham was born in Anderson, SC to Edward Dean Higginbotham, Sr. and the late Sara Irene McConnell Higginbotham. Eddie retired after 40 years from Engineered Products and also was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He was a former assistant Scout Master for pack #48 and faithful member for over 20 years at Fountain Inn First Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife, Annette and father Edward, are two sons, Edward Higginbotham III and Daniel Higginbotham; a daughter, Katrina Thompson and her husband Patrick; two brothers, Rick Higginbotham and his wife Robin and Brad Higginbotham and his wife Roxie; two grandchildren, Mason Lewis and Aurora Thompson. A graveside service will be held 2:30 pm Monday at Greenville Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Mike Bearden, Rev. Charlie Howell and Dr. Condy Richardson. Viewing will be from 10-1 pm Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
