Obituary of Floyd "Terry" Barbrey

Floyd Terry Barbrey, 67, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 2, 2021. Mr. Barbrey was born in Greenville to Floyd Hal Barbrey and Jewell Elizabeth Wood Barbrey. He retired from R-Max and was the former owner of Barbrey’s Machine Shop. He was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church. Terry enjoyed livestock, buying and selling cattle, and horse taming. His greatest joy was being a PaPa to his grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a son, Rocky Barbrey; two daughters, Stephanie Reyna and husband Gene, and Monica Meeks and husband Kevin; and six grandchildren, Logan, Aiden, Maddox, Katie, Kameron and Shaylee. He was predeceased by a sister, Diane Underwood. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Due to the health of Terry’s parents, the family is hosting visiting and condolences at the Meeks home, 100 Rowan Street, Mauldin, SC 29662. Graveside services will be private.
