Obituary of Nancy Jeanne Goodwin Lollis

Nancy Jeanne Goodwin Lollis, 90, wife of Calvin Lewis Lollis, Sr. for 73 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Mrs. Lollis was born in Fountain Inn to the late Tom Goodwin and Maggie Lou Jones Goodwin. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she served in the Womens Circle and taught childrens Sunday School class for many years. She retired from American Federal. Nancy was a caretaker at heart. She and Calvin volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels for many years. Her passion was her church and her family. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Lewis Lollis, Jr. (Susan), and Meredith Lollis and wife Jill; a sister, Tommie Crumpton and husband Marion; five grandchildren, Landon Horton, Tyler Lollis, Chandler Lollis and wife Erin, Blake Lollis and Connor Lollis; and three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Shaun and Emery. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Lollis-Horton and her husband Steve Horton; two brothers, Jones Goodwin and Jerry Goodwin; and a sister, Elsie Jane Thomas. Funeral services for family and close friends will be held at 4 o’clock Tuesday in the mausoleum chapel of Cannon Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Murray Snow. Memorials may be made to Meals-on-Wheels, 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC 29605; or to Trinity UMC, 403 S. Weston Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. The family would like to thank all the caregivers who assisted mom and the family during this time.
