Obituary of Myrtis Jolene Sumner Brown

Myrtis Jolene Sumner Brown, 79, widow of Bobby Neil Brown, went to be with the Lord of Thursday, October 13, 2021. Mrs. Brown was born in Spartanburg to the late Lois Eugene Sumner and Jessie Genia Frey Sumner. Jolene was a member of Woodruff First Baptist Church and a former volunteer at the Woodruff Soup Kitchen. Surviving are two sons, Darrell Brown and Gregg Brown; a brother, Terry Sumner and wife, Tammy; three sisters, Betty Flynn, Lis Mason and Patsy Goings and husband, Bobby; five grandchildren, Derrik Brown and wife Jessica, Whitney Corbin and husband Tyler, Dustin Brown, Harley Brown, and Levi Brown; and a great-grandson, Cam Brown. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Brenda Brown. No services are planned at this time.
