Mary Iola Mostella Potter, 89, wife of Philip Norman Potter, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 19, 2021. Mrs. Potter was born in Simpsonville to the late James Edward Mostella and Willie Nelson Mostella. She was a member of Faith Renewed and lived out her faith every day. Mary was a collector, a journaler and always welcomed anyone to her home with a warm cup of coffee and a kind word. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving, in addition to her husband are three sons, Johnny Land, James Stacey Ledford (Della) and Erik Ledford (Michelle); five daughters, Vicki Reid (Wayne), Cathy Gray, Lisa Hayes (Travis), Della Ledford and Lisa Ortiz (Rick); a brother, Ronnie Mostella (Joanne); a sister, Arlene “Dink” Massey; her mother-in-law, Margaret Larson; twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Ledford. Funeral Services will be 2:30pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one and a half hours prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum.
