Obituary of Jean Beeman

Alice Jean Wolf Beeman, 88, widow of Oscar Edward “Ed” Beeman, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Mrs. Beeman was born in Green Township, PA to the late Lloyd Arthur Wolf, Sr. and Hazel Florence Bellman Wolf. She was a member of Suber Road Baptist Church and was a true prayer warrior. Jean enjoyed her family and church immensely. She particularly cherished being “grandma” to her grandchildren. She was a collector of “Chicken Soup for the Soul” books and decorative Christmas houses. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Ken and Bette Beeman, and Jim and Sherri Beeman; two daughters and their husbands, Lynn and Steve Stouffer, and Cherie and Lee Benwire; three brothers and their wives, Bill and Molly Wolf, Tom and Minnie Wolf, and Ray and Nancy Wolf; sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd “Butch” Arthur Wolf, Jr. A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be at 1 o’clock Saturday, December 4th, at Suber Road Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Jim Wetterland. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be at 1 o’clock Thursday (Dec 9th) at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
