Obituary of Samuel Tilman Owen

Samuel “Sam” Tilman Owen, 62, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Mr. Owen was the son of the late John Maurice Patton and Mary Boiter Patton. Sam was an avid football and NASCAR fan. He was known for being a bit of a history buff. He most enjoyed spending time with his friends. Surviving is a son, Samuel Rory Owen; and a sister, Teressa Adair; and Lesia Morris; and his beloved dog, Petie. He was predeceased by his parents, and brother in-law, Thomas Adair. A Graveside service will be 11 o’clock Thursday in the Whispering Gardens at Cannon Byrd Memorial Park.
