Regrettably, we did not ever meet Mr. Leonard Smeal, but knew of him through his son, Keith, and daughter-in-law, Sarah. Sarah has always attributed Keith’s brilliance, personality, kindness and patience to his parents. We can be grateful that Mr. Leonard will live on through his sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Our sympathy to all his family and friends.

The Hames family sends our condolences to the Leonard Smeal family.In 1973 Boyd went to work at BF Shaw and Leonard was his mentor and taught Boyd all about quality .To this day 48 years Boyd still owes all he knows to the great man ,Leonard Smeal. This breaks our hearts for the family and knowing they lost a sweet man and daddy. May God be with you all during this time of your sorrow. We love you all and our prayers are with you.

To the Smeal Family - I had the privilege of working with Leonard when I started at B.F. Shaw in 1973. He was one of the finest individuals I worked with. Never too busy to help someone in need. A man of character and truly devoted to Ruth and his family. He will be missed by all who knew him. Condolences to all of his family and friends.

Sending my condolences to the Smeal family. I have many memories of Leonard! I am saddened by this news but I know he’s reunited with the love of his life.
