Obituary of Linda Scarberry

Linda Kay Jacomet Scarberry, 80, widow of Walter Milton Scarberry, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Mrs. Scarberry was born in Lima, OH to the late Charles and Nola Jacomet. She was married to Walter for 60 years before he went to be with the Lord. She had one son, Jerry Lee Scarberry – he has gone to be with the Lord. She has one sister Tammy Harrod in Lima, OH, two brothers, Guy Jacomet and Charles Jacomet, both of whom have gone to be with the Lord. Plus, Katherine Hall, Jane Poling, Leona Gibson, they have gone to be with the Lord. She has three grandchildren, Ryan Scarberry and wife Michelle, Jodie Stewart and husband Corey, and Brandy Scarberry and husband Jake Lewis; and five great-grandchildren, Bryson Stewart, Blakely Stewart, Alana Lewis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Tyler Lewis. Linda was active at Word of Life Ministries in Simpsonville, SC for over 25 years. She loved the Lord and was very dedicated to him. She also loved to cook and bake. “God Bless you all!”
