Jesse Ancel James,73, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
Mr. James was born in Pickens to the late Clyde C James and Esther Louise Hamilton. He enjoyed collecting classic cars, going to the mountains, and boating.
Surviving are two sons, Terry James and Erick James with wife Amber; a daughter, Tina Johnson; former wife, Betty McKinney James; four brothers, Frankie James with wife Carolyn, Larry James with wife Linda, Rickey James with wife Diane and Steve James; three sisters, Carolyn Terry with husband Joe, Violet Neely with husband Franklin and Linda Mae Boren with husband Dallas; five grandchildren, Brittany “BJ” James, Lee Oliver with wife Leah, Krystal Simpson with husband Sammy, Renee Chandler and Malia James; four great-grandchildren, Derick Barnette, Nathan Barnette, Mikey Barnette and Sara Oliver. He was predeceased by a brother: and a sister, Louise Hood.
The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
A Celebration of Jesse’s Life will be 2 o’clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
