Obituary of Nancy Hipps Boyce

Nancy Lou Hipps Boyce, 89, widow of James Carroll Boyce, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
Mrs. Boyce was born in Simpsonville to the late Herman Rector Hipps and Bessie Ola Manely Hipps. She was a member of Standing Springs Baptist Church and retired from C&T Manufacturing. Nancy enjoyed sewing, traveling and creating photo albums. She raised cattle and bred Labrador puppies for many years. She loved being with James in their travels and work days at the family property.
Surviving are a son, Johnny Boyce and wife Sandy; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Boyce; four grandchildren, Lindsay Adams and husband David, Chris Boyce, Julie Crowe and husband Tommy, and Adam Boyce; and five great-grandchildren, Logan Adams, Billy Crowe, Aseph Crowe, Hattie Jo Crowe, and Georgia “G.G.” Crowe. She was predeceased by a son, Ronnie Boyce; and two sisters, Connie Hartsell and Janice Peden.
A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be 3 o’clock Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Art McCraw. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
