Obituary of Teddy Joe Atkison

Teddy Joe “Ted” Atkison, 78, husband of Erma Patterson Atkison, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
Mr. Atkison was born in Greenville to the late Joseph Arthur and Myrtle Morgan Atkison. He was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Cuban Crisis.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, Darrell Atkison (Valerie); a daughter, Rhonda A. Potts (Jerry); a sister, Betty Atkison Scott; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by one brother, Kenneth Atkison.
The family will receive friends Wednesday Feb 1st from 7pm - 8:30pm at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday at Fountain Inn First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park.
