We have so many fond memories of Tim coming to our home in Fountain Inn to hang out with Danny. On a couple occasions, Dave took a group of their friends on camping trips to the mountains. Tim was always so well behaved and fun-loving. He was a joy to be around.
We hurt for you, Sandy & Robert. May our loving Father hold the Fonville family close as you grieve the loss of one so dear.
Prayers, Dave & Becky Beech

Sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. He was a good friend, had excellent taste in movies and music, and a kind ear for everyone.

I met Tim on the first day of college at USC in 1998. We became friends, and eventually roommates, and spent a lot of time together hanging out. We both loved Wrestling and had an affinity for heavy metal music. Some of my favorite moments in Wrestling involved Tim. We saw Ric Flair return to wrestling together, and hugged when he did. He introduced me to ECW. We did a fantasy wrestling thing together. When I had a rough time later in life after we had gone our separate ways, he was one of the first people to respond to my cry for help. We talked for a few hours that day, and promised to get together in the future. We never did, and I regret that. I always thought we would have more time. I want Tim’s son to know he was a good man with a good heart who made an impression on everyone he met. Rest in power old friend.

Tim spent many hours at our house while he was a student at SCS. Our son, TJ, considered Timothy a good friend. This is very sad.

My friendship with this wonderful man is never-ending. I was honored that he let me be his "Aunt Rita". We shared so many fun-filled early morning & all day "crabbin" adventures" as well as other adventures that I will forever hold near & dear in my heart. I will miss you every day, & will keep your "crabbin" legacy going as long as I can. RIP sweet Tim. As you always ended your conversations with me, "I love you, Rita", and me back to you "I love you, Tim".

My family has been friends with the Fonvilles for as long as I can remember. There are two memories I’d like to share about Tim.
My brother and Tim have been friends from kindergarten through high school. Tim would be over hanging out at our house and all those times combined he was always smiling, super kind, and sparing a few minutes to play with the annoying little siblings.
My second memory of Tim is when he acted the hero to my family one day after school. On the way home our car broke down and we were stuck on the side of the road. It was Tim who pulled over and put me and the siblings in the his car and helped my mom figure out what to do. It’s a simple gesture and one many people would brush off as just the decent thing to do. But a lot of other cars drove by that day. Tim was more than a decent person he always treated us with kindness.
My heart goes out to all the friends and family. I’ll be thinking of you.

My sincerest condolences to the family. In these times, I know that no words here will ease the grief of his passing, but Tim was always a Legend in my book. Tim was one of my childhood friends. He and I were classmates in nearly every class for almost 10yrs. Tim's warm and witty sense of humor was always wonderful to be around. Whilst life happened we all grew apart, my fault, but know that he was a light in world for so many with his charm and loyal friendship. My only regret was not knowing him as an adult. God will ease this pain you feel, but know he will be missed.
