Obituary of Martin Rufus McCall

Martin Rufus McCall, 86, husband of the late Sue Smith McCall for 56 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Mr. McCall was born in Balsom Grove, NC to the late Oscar Joseph McCall and Dorothy Owen McCall. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and Upper SC Coon Hunters Club. He was an avid deer and squirrel hunter. Surviving are three sons, Johnny Parrish, Ronnie McCall and Mark McCall; a daughter, Ruby Jones; a brother, Gene McCall; three sisters, Alene Hayes, Othelene Owen and Lula Bell McCall. He was predeceased by a brother, Burlin McCall. Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Bradley Thompson. Family will receive friends an hour prior. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Gardens.
