Obituary of Jimmy Allen Cochran

Jimmy Allen Cochran, 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Mr. Cochran was born in Cross Anchor to the Late William Harvey Cochran and Ida Mable Golden Cochran. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Jimmy enjoyed billiards and won several tournaments. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Surviving are three daughters, Sandy Sanchez, Sarah Kurtz, and Cindy Painter; two brothers, bobby Cochran with wife Carolyn and David Cochran with wife Barbara; three sisters, Margie Smith, Diane Nichols with husband John, and Linda Taylor; and thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Lottie Gossett Cochran; a daughter, Susan Ford; four brothers, Donald Cochran, William Cochran, Julian Cochran and Theron Cochran; and two sisters, Betty Lancaster and Dorothy Stapleton. A Celebration of Jimmy’s life will be 4 o’clock Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The Family will receive friends from 2:30-4pm. Burial will be in Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery.
