Lloyd Tennison Jr., husband of Cookie Tennison for 25 years, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.
Mr. Tennison was born in Buchanan, MI to the late Lloyd Tennison Sr. and Ellen Lavina Mullen Tennison Payton. He retired from Rockwell Automation. Lloyd enjoyed golfing, gardening, and going to the beach.
Suriving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Wendi Foster and husband Tim, Carmen Smothers and husband Todd, and Lori Tennison; four sisters, Joan Panozzo, Donna, Tennison, Judy Tennison and Cathy Dillman; two grandchildren, Kati Smothers and Tyler Smothers; and a special caregiver, Elaine Duncan. He was predeceased by a brother, Larry Tennison; a sister, Shirley Purdy; and a step-father, Howard Payton.
Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680; or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd, Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
