A beloved mother-in-law, teacher, and beacon of patience, love, kindness and care. She bestowed her warm affection on everyone she encountered; hence, we endearingly named her 'Mother'. Her absence is palpable yet comfort can be found in the assurance that a reunion awaits us someday. May thoughts of Mother Evelyn bring more smiles than tears during this difficult time.

To the family of the Mahaffey family. So sorry to hear that Miss Eleven had passed away, I have known both the Mahaffey and Norwood families all my life.. Most of us grew up on the Woodside Mill Village. Miss Evelyn was always a happy person. I know that all who knew her will miss her very much. May God keep each of you in his loving arms.
