Obituary of Roy Keith Allison

Roy Keith Allison, 75, husband to Barbara “Jean” Yeargin Allison for 56 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2022. Mr. Allison was born in Simpsonville, SC to the late Ralph Allison and Willie Mae Brooks Allison. Roy retired from Sealed Air in 1998 and was a member of Word of Life Ministries. He enjoyed fishing and watching westerns. Roy was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed time with family. He was a wonderful husband, father and provider, for that his family will be eternally grateful. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Keith Allison and Christopher Allison (Karen); two grandsons, Thomas Allison and Taylor Allison (Katie); a sister, Joann Johnson (Pete); and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Juanita Hart; four brothers, Billy Allison, Don Allison, Larry Allison, and Toby Allison; and a brother-in-law, Frank Hart. The family will receive friends 1-3pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Roy’s Life will follow at 3 o’clock Tuesday in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service.
