Obituary of Carolyn Buchanan

Carolyn Louise Thomason Buchanan, 78, widow of Kenneth Lee Buchanan, Sr., went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 3, 2022. Mrs. Buchanan was born in Greenville to the late William Milton “Bill” Thomason and Margaret Louise Malone. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafts and doing puzzles and coloring on her tablet. Surviving, are two sons, Kenneth Matthew Thomason and Kenneth Lee Buchanan, Jr; a daughter, Sheila Thomason (Keith Sexton); two grandchildren, Jonathan Thomason (Jodi Schuster) and Sandy Sexton; a great-granddaughter, Alecya Young; two sisters, Beth Garrett and Rubynell Brown; a special nephew, Duane Thomason and a special sister-in-law, Donna Thomason. She was predeceased by a brother, Preston Thomason and a sister, Margie Moore. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be 2pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
