David Wayne Reid, Jr., 54, husband of Betty “Sue” Bagwell Reid for 31 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
Mr. Reid was born in Greenville to David Wayne Reid, Sr. and Vicki Diane Land Reid. He was an alumnus of Furman University and Clemson University. David was an employee of Kenco Logistics North America. He loved Clemson football and was an avid Braves fan. David was known for his outgoing personality and genuine love for people. David enjoyed grilling and cooking for family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Chandler Reid (Ashley Bonnette); a daughter, Betty “Ashton” Reid; two brothers, Geoffery Reid (Tammy) and Nick Reid (Jenny); and his feathered friend, for more than 30 years, “Rocky”.
The family will receive friends 1-2pm Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
A Celebration of David’s Life will begin at 2pm in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cannon Byrd Memorial Park.
