Obituary of Donald "Howard" Hudson, Jr.

Donald “Howard” Hudson, Jr., 57, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2022. Mr. Hudson was born in Simpsonville, SC to the late Donald Howard Hudson, Sr. and Sara Delano Mullinax Hudson. He was a diehard NASCAR fan and Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. He enjoyed watching football and was a long time Falcons fan and an avid Gamecock fan. Howard never met a stranger. He was a jokester by nature, and was known for his determination and strength to endure. Surviving are two sons, Trey Hudson (Bretny) and Austin (Brandi); two daughters, Chelsea Hudson (Brandon Holder) and Amber Bachman (EJ); three sisters, Denise Hunsinger, Angela Hipps and Dana Hudson; five grandchildren, Kendra Lea Holder, Savannah Rae Holder, Alaina Simmons, Averie Heath, and Kinsley Rae Hudson; and his favorite four legged friend, Grayson. He was predeceased by a brother in-law, Jimmy Hunsinger. A Celebration of Howard’s Life will be 2 o’clock Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will be in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
