Obituary of Colleen Patricia Crisp

Colleen Patricia Crisp, 69, wife of James Gregory Crisp for 31 years, left this world suddenly on December 23, 2022. Mrs. Crisp was born in Corpus Christi, TX to Alberta Mae Mitchell Dixon and the late Thomas Norbert Clancy. She married her soul mate James on August 17, 1991 and they had a wonderful marriage with love and laughter and kept a strong hold of each other when they lost their oldest son. Our mother was a remarkable woman. She was always there for her family and friends. She would help you with anything and was the funniest and most straight forward woman we knew. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and absolutely loved being a “Nana”. We know she will continue to keep a watch over her family from heaven. Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are two sons, Michael Mendez and Sean Crisp; a daughter, Melissa Mendez-King; twenty grandchildren, Ariana, Aryia, Thomas, Andrew, Tyler, Travis, Tom, Mike, Sofia, Teresa, Jordan, Phoenix, Cerenity, Taylor, River, Heaven, Zay’Ianna, Za’Marion, Kolton and Bailey; four brothers, Patrick Clancy, Lee Dixon, Timmy Dixon and Wayne Dixon; two sisters, Joyce Shaper and Erin Scott and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Tomas Mendez and a brother, John Harry Clancy. A Celebration of Colleen’s Life will be 3:30pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2-3:30pm.
