Obituary of Tim Weaver

Stephen Timothy “Tim” Weaver, 68 of Fountain Inn, husband of Jenny Gibson Weaver for 46 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 3, 2023. Mr. Weaver was born in Greenville to the late Frank Arvin Weaver and Mary Louise Knight Weaver. He was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church. Tim enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities. He was an avid baseball fan and attended all of his children’s sports activities while they were growing up. You could always recognize Tim by his t-shirts and baseball caps. His true passion was riding and working with horses, he was the original cowboy. Surviving, in addition to his wife are his two children, Ashley Yarbrough (Todd) and Justin Weaver (Ashley); one brother, Dan Weaver, three precious grandchildren he adored, Sawyer and Reagan Yarbrough and Ellie Weaver and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 2 sisters, Evelyn and Peggy Ann and a brother, Roger. A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be 11:30am Tuesday at Clear Spring Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11:15am. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to American Cancer Society, 113 Mills Ave, Greenville, SC 29605.
