Obituary of Margaret Blackstock

Margaret Emma Blackstock, 86, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2023. Margaret was born in Seneca to the late Edward Garland Allsep and Winnie Mae Dean Allsep. She was a member of Gray Court Church of God and retired from Sara Lee Bakery. In her earlier years, she owned and operated convenient stores, a restaurant and a game room. Margaret loved bus touring with her sisters and visited many states. She enjoyed crafts and sewing, making several Easter dresses for her granddaughter. She also enjoyed water aerobics and card games with friends at the YMCA in Simpsonville. Surviving, are two sons, John Blackstock (Stefonia) and Greg Blackstock; a daughter, Yhonis Frint; two sisters, Pat Moore and Sue Herbert; eight grandchildren, Justin, Jeanie, Tiffany, Courntey, Patrick Ashley and Aaron; and three great-grandchildren, Alana, Rylee and Elijah. She was predeceased by a daughter, Anita Beasley; and two brothers, Harold Allsep and Kenneth Allsep. Memorial services will be 12noon Friday at Gray Court Church of God, officiated by Rev.
