Obituary of Robin Powell

Robin Marie Powell, 37, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2023. Ms. Powell was born in Greenville to Tina Barton Powell and the late Jackie William Powell. Robin was a graduate of Berea High School where she was loved by all her teachers and classmates. She enjoyed oldies music and collecting Barbie Dolls and never met a stranger who didn’t become a friend. Robin was the life of any social gathering, loved being with her family and was always smiling. She would always say, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are paternal grandparents, Ed and JoAnn Gosnell; an uncle, Reggie Powell (Susie); and four aunts, Brenda McCombs, Sandy Helms, Gaynette Barton and Derrill Holden. She was predeceased by maternal grandmother, Eloise Barton and her sister, Connie Powell. A graveside service will be held at one o’clock Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Greenville Memorial Gardens, officiated by Chaplin Donald Miller and Chaplin Teresa Howard.
