Obituary of Jared Ray Medlock

Jared Ray Medlock, 49, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 10, 2023. Mr. Medlock was born in Rock Hill, SC to the late Thomas Ray Medlock and Dorris Kay Harris Medlock. Jared was an employee of Patewood Rehabilitation Center of Greenville. He was an Eagle Scout and a register citizen of the Catawba Indian Nation. Jared loved music, especially the Grateful Dead, Beatles, and Taylor Swift. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Jared had a kind soul, he loved everyone, and never met a stranger he couldn’t talk to. Surviving, is a daughter, Myah Medlock (fiancé, Chandler Elmore); step-son (Tryston Booth), Kevin Ward (wife, Daryl Ward); a sister, Alisa Quinn (husband, Brian). Service will be held on July 14th at 3 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Located at 1301 Boiling Springs Road Greer, SC 29650.
