I just found out that Mary had died. I'm so sorry that I have not kept in better contact. My daughter was killed in 2011 and my husband died in 2013. I have loved Mary all of my life. I know that she is so happy to be in the presence of our Lord. I love you all and am so sorry that I have lost contact.

I remember Aunt Mary with great fondness and joy. I met her through Buddy and Susan Spivey and experienced her warm hospitality and Christian love. I am very sorry for your loss, but rejoice to know that she has gone to be with her precious Lord and Savior. May you be comforted to know she sees Him face to face!

Mrs. Mary showed us how we all should live. She was always giving in every way. "Angel Unaware", she was not! Each of her special hugs with a little squeeze at the end went straight to your heart and you could feel the presence of the Lord. Her smile and penetrating blue eyes would make everything better. Being her neighbor was something I will never forget and moving away was one of the saddest days of my life. The entire Martin Family were/are special folks....the kind that are few and far between in today's world. Due to recent knee replacement, I will be unable to attend the service, however, my heart will be there. John, Belinda, Jay, Brandi, Mary Kay and family, my love and prayers are with you all. This world is a much sweeter place because Mrs. Mary visited and I can only imagine heaven, her permanent home! All who loved Mrs. Mary will forever carry a piece of her in our hearts.
