Obituary of Bobby Weeks

Robert Wayne Weeks, 72, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Mr. Weeks was born in Spartanburg to the late Paul Earl Weeks and Ruth Meriam Stacey Weeks.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Woven Electronics.  He attended Philadelphia Baptist Church.  Bobby enjoyed working on go-carts and ATVs, dirt-track racing, feeding and watching animals in his yard.  He was keen on stopping at yard sales and looking for another antique to collect.

Surviving are two sons, Dusty Weeks with wife Marion Anne, and Shane Weeks; a brother, Pete Weeks with wife Sharon; two sisters, Liz Sisk with husband Donnie, and Cindy West; three grandchildren, J.D. Weeks with wife Janna, Rhegan Weeks with wife Tori, and Colton Weeks; and three great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son, Justin Weeks.

A Celebration of Bobby’s Life will be 4 o’clock Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service – Woodruff Chapel.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.  Burial will be in Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
