Cheryl and I spent a lot of our childhood years together. She and her sisters spent time each summer with their grandparents who were my Aunt Laura and Uncle Roy. Cheryl and I were more than cousins....we were truly family. We didn't see as much of each other when we were grown and raising our families, but there were times throughout the years when were were able to get together. I treasure those memories. I sent cards to her when she was not doing well and she sent a note to me last month. I will treasure that note forever. I have been blessed to have been a part of Cheryl's life.
