Melissa was an amazing women. I will never forget all her advise and sweet words throughout the past years. The last breakfast I went with her she was telling me about how much she loved people. She never judged anyone. She was an amazing mother to her two kids ❤️At each one of her photo sessions, she was always in the best mood and you could see her geniune love for her family ! She will be missed dearly.

Melissa will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. Although we grieve for her loving family during this most difficult time, we share the peace that Melissa's earthly health struggles have ended. She fought valiantly and hard and inspired all those whose lives she touched - especially those in the transplant community. Although her life was short, she filled it with beautiful memories she readily shared with others. May these memories now bring comfort and peace to all those who loved her! May God's love surround you all and give you strength. Marilyn Foley

One of my fondest memories of Melissa is our trip to Maine. We had a wonderful time with a mutual friend. Melissa never complained even when she didn’t feel the greatest, she was always a trooper. She will be missed!

I truly am sorry for the lost of a very young woman who was truly an inspiration to everyone around her. My heart breaks for each and every one of you, because I know the love I had for her and how my heart breaks.
