Obituary of Margaret Julian

Jessie Margaret Evatt Julian, 98, widow of Thomas Rayvon “Ray” Julian, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Mrs. Julian was born in Fountain Inn to the late Thomas Melton “Tom” Evatt and Gertrude Chapman Evatt.  She was a lifelong member of the former Fountain Inn Wesleyan Church.  She retired from Woodside Mills.  Margaret enjoyed sewing, crocheting and traveling.  She was an avid reader who enjoyed solving word-search puzzles.  She was a collector of Chicken Soup For The Soul books.

Surviving are a daughter, Connie Marshall with husband Danny; a granddaughter, Danielle Green with husband Steven; and a great-grandson, Wyatt Green.  She was predeceased by four sisters, Nellie Evatt, Maggie Evatt, Willie Mae Bridges and Effie Williams.

A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be 2 o’clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
