Obituary of Sandra Ragsdale
In Loving Memory of Sandra Ragsdale
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Ragsdale on November 6th, 2023. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Sandra was a remarkable woman who exemplified grace and kindness throughout her life. Born in September of 1946 to the late C.H. and Ellie Thompson she was the youngest of three children brother Wayne and sister Judy. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist church and enjoyed vacationing with her son and his famiy on the coast and shopping for bargains at the local stores close to her home.
A loving and devoted mother above all else, Sandra found immense joy in the company of her daughters Penny, Kelley and her son Ross and his wife Kristy. Together, they created countless cherished memories and experiences that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Sandra's unconditional love and support were always evident, as she offered guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear whenever needed.
As a grandmother, Sandra's love extended to her beloved grandchildren Reid, Hunter, Haley, Chloe and great grandchildren Zane and Leo. Whether it was sharing stories or simply enjoying quality time together, their bond was one built on unconditional love and an unbreakable connection.
Sandra's immense impact went far beyond her immediate family. Her warm smile, kind words, and compassionate heart touched the lives of many friends and acquaintances. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone she met feel seen, valued, and loved. Sandra's generosity knew no bounds as she selflessly gave her time and support to those in need.
As we bid farewell to Sandra, we find solace in knowing that her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and influenced. Though her physical presence may be gone, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Sandra's memory to Hospice of the Upstate.
