Obituary of Vicki Hill

Quilla Vicki Coker Hill, 91, widow of Jessie Leroy Hill, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 28, 2023.

Mrs. Hill was born in Marietta, SC to the late James Willie “J.W.” Coker and Ruby Mary Frances Welborn Coker.  She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society and the Agape Sunday School Class.  Vicki enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading.  She dedicated her time and energy into genealogy research and family history.  Vicki had an absolute love for children throughout her lifetime.

Surviving are two sons, Randy Hill and Jimmy Hill; a daughter, Lynne Sutherland with husband Dean; five grandchildren and their spouses, Brandy and Jason Adams, Brandon and Meghan Sutherland, Ashley and Josh Genoble, Steven and Kimberly Crow, and Nancy and Vernon Knight; ten great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Jaden, Bennett, Collins, Callie Grace, Caleb, Carrie, Stephanie, Susan and Veronica; and a great-great-granddaughter, Michelle.  She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Faye Hill; a brother, Jim Coker; and a sister, June Futrell.

A Celebration of Vicki’s Life will be 3 o’clock Sunday, December 31^st, at Beulah Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
