Obituary of Donald Rudolph Stone

Donald R. “Randy” Stone, Jr., husband of Sandra Smith Stone for 38 years, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 12, 2017.

Mr. Stone was born in Greenville County to Donald “Donnie” Rudolph Stone, Sr. and the late Carol Owens Stone.  He worked as a contractor for FEDEX.  Randy was enthusiastic about participating in Civil War Reenactments.  He put in long hours tending to the horses and traveling with co-participants to help people experience what the Civil War would have been like.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and father, are three daughters; Nikki Nelson and husband Shane, April Mucci and husband Reggie, and Jessica Dull; a grandson, Blayne Dull; a stepmother, Cathey Campbell Stone; and three sisters, Laura Bolden and husband George, Sharon Chandler, and Lisa London and husband Caine.

Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday in the chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park.
