I bought Jack's 1934 Chevy truck two years ago. I "inherited" all the trophies because he said, "the truck won them, I didn't". Actually, Sara got a room in their house back! I changed the rear end to look more "original" with a bumper, retro taillights and tail pipes. Also, to look more "era-like"(in my mind), I changed the chrome mag wheels to white walls and hub caps. Jack was a wonderful man and friend. From a fellow Hoosier....Steve Wayne

Mr. Jack was my neighbor. During my walks, my dog Monica and him became buddies. He would purchase Paul Newman dog treats especially for her . He always seemed to have a fresh bag around, he said that he didn’t want her to have stale treats. Both of us enjoyed seeing him, I enjoyed our early morning conversations. My thoughts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time. He will definitely be missed. Vicky Folmer
