Obituary of Denise Perrone

We regret to announce that Denise Lorraine Perrone passed away surrounded by loving family on January 10^th, 2024 in Greenville, SC at the age of 81.

She was the daughter of Steven & Fadora Hodur, sister to the late Delma Mammana, Howard Dranger, Dennis Hodur and Daryl Hodur, and the loving wife to the late Peter Perrone. In death she passes her legacy of kindness to her three children, sons Tim Turek and James Perrone, and daughter Lucy Ann Perrone. She was a loving Grandmother to Kelsey, Cassie, Ava, Nikolas and Nathaniel as well as Great Grandmother to Maisie, Gryffin, and Serena.

In life she was the rock that anchored us during a storm, in death she reminds us how fragile we really are. Denise was an enduringly kind, generous and resilient person who overcame extreme hardships as a child to create a better life for her children. She was a hardworking role model and entrepreneur in the Buffalo community.  She will be honored in a memorial service and her remains interred in the historic Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, NY next to Peter in a family plot in the spring of 2024. Details will be shared at a later time.
