Obituary of Jaquie Gilbert

Jaquie Lynn Monks Gilbert, 54, wife of Phillip Earl Gilbert for 23 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 29, 2024.

Mrs. Gilbert was born in Mercer, PA to the late Larry Rae Monks and Barbara Ann Montgomery Monks.  She was an alumnus of Pheonix University and worked at Gatekeeping Partners.  Jaquie enjoyed the outdoors, raising chickens, gardening, and mowing the grass.  She loved trips to the beach; however, her greatest joy was being “GiGi” to her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three sons, Michael Jinks with wife April, Anthony Puckett with wife Amanda, and Joshua Puckett with Hannah Allison; a daughter, Tiffiny Cisko with husband Gino; three brothers, Doug Monks with wife Holly, Bryan Monks with wife Susan, and Bruce Monks with wife Paige; and seven grandchildren, Zachary Carter, Mikayla Jinks, Bowden Carter, Jaxson Jinks, Madelynn Cisko, Noah Cisko and Emma Cisko.

There will not be a traditional service. Instead, the family will receive friends between 4 – 6 o’clock Saturday February 3^rd, 2024 for a Visitation-style Memorial at Fletcher Funeral Service in Fountain Inn, SC.
