Frank is my unforgettable character. I met him over 55 years ago through my ex-husband. Tom Allen. Tom and Frank were best friends. We always had a good laugh when we were together. Frank related all the good stories about the antics that he and Tom had growing up. I was surprised that the two of them survived.
We were lucky enough to go on many trips and share many good times with Frank and Barbara. One trip was to Lake Placid NY. It was freezing. We rented a snowmobile for about 15 minutes before we froze. We rode the Olympic Bobsled which was exciting. The last night Frank presented Tom with a gift from a pizza place near valley Stream. Several months earlier Tom had ordered a calzone but it wasn’t to his liking. Frank kept that calzone, and gave it to him that night. We all laughed until we cried. The calzone went flying in the air and was buried in a snowbank near Lake Placid. We figured Earl, the maintenance man, would find it that next summer.
More recently Frank & Barb taught me to play Mexican Train. He was my “go to expert” when I had question. I continue to play that game every month so I hope Frank will be available for “my phone a friend “
Knowing Frank was a true gift. I’m sure that he is in heaven and entertaining everyone with his stories. Until we meet again, this “polack” is signing off. Thanks for the memories!

So happy that John Bullard & I were able to visit Frank & Barbara in South Carolina in 2002 before John entered the late stage of Alzheimer’s. Frank was a good friend to John and they shared many hours skiing and riding motorcycles. So glad they were able to have those moments.

My father was a good friend of Frankie's father-when we moved to Valley Stream in the early fifties, he convinced Bob and Evelyn to move a block away. I have fond memories of spending many days together with Frankie - just playing in the street right past sunset, and at the nearby park. He was always very easy going in attitude and fun to be around. I friended him on Facebook several years ago and he wanted me to call and reminisce, but life got in the way. My sincerest condolences to his extended family.

Frankie was my cousin, named after my Dad. Since I was the youngest (the baby!) cousin, I always went to the Rule Family parties and outings. All the Rule men were known for their teasing nature and Frankie loved to tease me! However, I remember saying to him years ago, “Just remember, I will always be the baby cousin!” He got a good laugh out of that comment! I will miss him. Rest in peace, my cousin.

Frank and Barbara were great friends that My husband George and I met at our favourite place in Florida. We met through Barbara’s mother Agnes. We spent too many hours to count around the pool playing cards, having many meals and just a great time. Our family including daughter son in law and grandkids visited Frank and Barbara in Vermont again having a great time.I am so sorry to hear the extremely sad news about Frank having passed.Have thought of them both over the years and loved to see that the Goldwing was still in the picture.Although I have not seen them in a long time I want Barb ,Michelle and Greg that they are in my heart.
