Obituary of Brad Atwell

Bradley David Atwell, 36, found his peace on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Brad was born in Greenville to Michelle Johnson Atwell and the late David Ray Atwell.

He is survived by two beautiful daughters, Brantley Atwell and Emelia Atwell; his mom, Michelle Atwell; Ken Clardy, his father figure for the past 17 years; paternal grandmother, Jean Atwell – aka “Nanny”; and maternal grandmother, Pat Haynie – aka “Maw-Maw” and Raymond Sloan who has been “Pops” for the past 28 years.

Brad loved his girls most of all.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and motorcycles. 

Brad was an only child but was blessed with a lot of cousins and a few lifelong friends who were more like siblings in his life.  Fly Free and Rest Easy.  You will always be loved and missed deeply. 

A Celebration of Brad’s Life will be 5 o’clock Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
