Celebration of Life
Obituary of Jean Harrison
Norma Jean Weathers Harrison, widow of Burnett Herbert Harrison, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Mrs. Harrison was born in Fountain Inn to the late Furman Lee Weathers, Sr. and Nina Estelle Thompson Weathers. She was raised by her late aunt and uncle, John and Mae Adair. Jean was a veteran of the US Army and member of Hillside Baptist Church.
Most important in Jean’s life was her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus, and the family that He blessed her with. Jean loved the Word of God and read, studied, taught and talked about it faithfully. Her desire was that all she came in contact with would know Jesus too. In her final days here on earth Jean would whisper, “Serve Jesus”.
Surviving are three sons, Duston “Dusty” Harrison with wife Kim, Danny “Dan” Harrison with wife Susan, and Jonathan “Jon” Harrison with wife Donelda; a daughter, Janice “Jan” Villa with husband Steve; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers; seven sisters; and one grandson.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 18th at Hillside Baptist Church.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to
Our Daily Bread Ministries in her honor.
