Obituary of Michael Young

Michael Wayne Young, 50, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Mr. Young was born in Woodruff to the late Terry Wayne Young and Ruby Lee Fuller Young.  He was a member of Woodruff Church of God.  Michael was an avid reader and also enjoyed Karaoke and video games.  His main hobbies were reading his Bible and listening to gospel music.  He was a fan of the USC Gamecocks and NASCAR.

Surviving are a sister, Pattie Vaughn with husband Jeff; and a nephew, Josh Vaughn with wife Luana.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be 4 o’clock Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service – Woodruff.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
