Obituary of Debbie Covan

Deborah “Debbie” Teague Covan, 66, widow of Randall “Randy” Dale Covan, passed away at home surrounded by family on Monday, April 22, 2024.

Mrs. Covan was born in Florida to the late Bearl Ray Teague and Marlene Hanna Teague. She was a member of Lake View Baptist Church, where she volunteered in the children’s ministry and VBS. She retired from Piedmont Dielectrics Corporation. Debbie loved traveling the country with Randy, and spending time at the lake with family and friends.  

Surviving are, a daughter, Amanda Rhodes (Dustin); three grandchildren, Jacob Teague, Hunter Rhodes, and Kaleb Rhodes; a sister, Cindy Teague (Jerry Waters); and her beloved dog “Georgia”.

A Celebration of Debbie’s Life will be 2 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service, Woodruff. The family will receive friends an hour prior. Burial will follow in the Stribling Cemetery.

In honor of Debbie, memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels, 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC 29605. The family will be at the home, 612 Round Street, Woodruff SC 29388.
