I meet Nancy at East Georgia Road where we both taught. She always had a smile on her face and would light up the room when she entered in. One of my many great memories was when she dressed up as an old man and no one knew who she was. She was a blessing to me and my children. I ran into her a few weeks ago and we talked for a while catching up on what’s been going on with our families. She will be truly missed. Aunt Nancy was one of a kind. She will be so missed. Aunt Nancy was always taking me places, playing with us, buying me the coolest clothes, and playing jokes on me to see what I would actually believe. I miss her infectious laugh and bright smile. She will be missed. I love you Aunt Nancy.

I am so saddened to hear the news of Nancy's passing. We were close friends in high school and shared many great memories during that time & while we were in band together. So many laughs we shared, along with several mischievous escapades. As we lost touch over the years, I so regret not reaching out to try to reconnect. Much love & prayers to all immediate & extended families. May our sweet friend rest in peace...

I remember both of you Peggy, these band camp photos are precious to me as well … Nancy being my first cousin and closest to my age I had to put up with her from an early on . She always was a HOOT! Ron Dunn

Nancy and I taught together at East Georgia Rd. Christian School. She was always a prankster; especially with me since I was so gullible! I'll never forget on one particular April Fool's Day... I walked into my room and every desk was gone!!! I knew she had done something! I went straight to her room, and of course she "had no idea what I was talking about." I did find them.... all over the playground!! She was a joy!!! Even in her most difficult times... she was a joy and found joy! I'll miss you, Nancy!! ( aka; Nanniecakes) Kenyette Owen
