Obituary of Kathryn Jaskula
Kathryn Lucille “Kaye” “Da Mama” Bassett Jaskula, 86, widow of Raymond Robert Jaskula, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Mrs. Jaskula was born in Chicago, IL to the late Jonathan Martin Bassett and Viola Bretz Bassett. She was retired from Greenville Technical College and a past member of the Eastern Star. Both her husband and her were active with the Shriners for several years. Kaye collected Music Boxes and loved to read and shop. She was known for her spicy and naughty sense of humor. She loved her “kid” shoes, yes her feet were that small. She always got so many compliments on her light up and glittery shoes. She enjoyed her Rafferty’s and eventually J Peters family of friends; Donna, Sonya, Tracy, Johnnie, Tom (the cool shoe competition guy) and so many more that she loved.
Surviving are her loving children Kim Jaskula, Laura Hoffman (David) and David Jaskula. Two grandchildren, David Ray Jaskula and Gareth Hoffman (Beth) and a great-grandchild, David Mason Jaskula.
Funeral Services will be private.
