Obituary of Bonnie Reid

Bonnie Ruth Griffith Reid, 92, widow of Wallace Edsel Reid, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Mrs. Reid was born in Greenville to the late Harley Griffith and Ruth Estelle Marchbanks Griffith.  She was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church.  Bonnie loved to crochet and was a master seamstress.  She was a bookkeeper, a builder and a farmer but her most successful calling was being Mother and a homemaker.

Surviving, are two sons, Lynn Reid (Susan) and William Reid; a daughter, Denise Ritacco (Bruce); a sister, Martha Ann Morris; eight grandchildren, Casandra Delap (Jacob), Daryl Ritacco (Amber), Shelby Thompson (Austin), Eddie Reid, Jr., Maxwell Reid, Carrie Westerburg (Shane), Zane Reid (Lauren) and Kelsey Reid (Katie) and twelve great-grandchildren, Karinn, Walker and Audrey Delap, Bailey, Nathan, and Lanie Westerburg, Wesley, Ryder, Skylar, Riley and Savannah Reid.  She was predeceased by a brother, Kay Griffith and a sister, Carol Fisher.

Funeral Services will be 3:30pm Sunday at Five Forks Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
