Obituary of David Furman Campbell, Jr.
Furman Campbell, Jr.83, of Simpsonville passed away, Monday, January 1, 2018 at McCall Hospice House. Furman was born March 28, 1934 to the late Furman Campbell, Sr. and Julia Ann Cooley Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed in the plumbing trade. He was a member of Standing Springs Baptist Church where he formerly served as a deacon and was currently a member of the Daniel Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Julia Ann Gooch Campbell; a son, David Campbell (Reba); two daughters, Becky Reeves (Jeff) and Carol Campbell; seven grandchildren, Amy Campbell Haymes (Josh), Laura Reeves Robson, Emily Reeves Snider (Michael), Taylor Campbell Martin (Cameron), Carson Campbell, Kyle Campbell and Braden Campbell and eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Perry Haymes, Jackson David Haymes, Jase Grant Haymes, Charlotte Ann Robson, Ella Reeves Snider, James Furman Snider, Austin Campbell Martin and Calvin Garrett Martin.
Mr Campbell was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Campbell; and a sister, Margie Holladay.
Funeral Services will be 11am Saturday at Standing Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service in the church.
