Obituary of Joyce Marler Hedden

Joyce Marler Hedden, 68, of Fountain Inn, passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2017. Born in Union County on October 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Herbert L. and Mattie Lou F. Marler, and the husband of Ronald Eugene Hedden. Joyce attended Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, David Franklin, Phillip Franklin, and Wayne Hedden (Kayla); her daughter, Roxanne Thornton; brothers, John Marler and Bobby Marler; sisters, Sharon Dickert and Nancy Cutrer; and five grandchildren, Chandler Hedden, Dustin Franklin, Hannah Franklin, Hailey Franklin, and Danika Franklin.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Marler.

The memorial service for Mrs. Hedden will be held at 3 o’clock on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in the chapel at Fletcher Funeral Service.
