Obituary of Michael James Sprouse

Michael James “Mikey” Sprouse, 45, son of Michael Avery Sprouse and Sandra Marie Albert Sprouse, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2018.

Mr. Sprouse was born in Greenville.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing football and baseball.  Mikey was a die-hard Clemson fan and also pulled for the Atlanta Braves.  He loved his dogs Tank, Shadow and Chipper.  He loved his Aunt Jill’s cooking.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Lisa Cornish and fiancé Lee Williams; grandmother, Ruth Holliday; two nephews, Chris Cornish and Jon Cornish; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Mikey’s Life will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Phil Cook.  The family will receive friends at the home for one hour prior to the service.
