Obituary of Louise Corrie Lancaster

Louise Corrie Vaughn Lancaster, 93, widow of Wilton Harry Lancaster, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.

Mrs. Lancaster was born in Simpsonville to the late Willie Brite Vaughn and Sallie Corrie Lawson Vaughn.  She retired from C & T Manufacturing and was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Don (Carolyn) Lancaster, Floyd (Donna) Lancaster, and Wendell (Lisa) Lancaster; two daughters, Ellen (Gary) Ferguson and Leta (Tim) Thackston; a sister, Lovonia Hendrix; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Billy and Louis Vaughn; three sisters, Era Bonds, Mattie Lou Lancaster, and Elizabeth Lothridge; and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Lancaster.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Clear Spring Baptist Church, followed by burial in Cannon Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends in the church prior to the service from 12:30-1:45 p.m.
