Frances Maxine Thomason Waddell, 91, widow of Lawrence Waddell, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 6, 2018.

 

Mrs. Waddell was born in Simpsonville to the late Alvin Dean Thomason and Erma Lee Mayfield Thomason.  She retired from Union Carbide and was a member of East Georgia Road Baptist Church. She sang in the choir and was involved in the nursing home ministry at Quillen Manor. Maxine loved exercising at the Simpsonville Activity Center and enjoyed fishing in her spare time. 

 

She was predeceased by a son, Jesse Waddell; a daughter, Gail Waddell; a brother, Billy Thomason; and a sister, Nancy Johnson

 

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.  Burial will be private.

 

Memorials may be made to East Georgia Road Baptist Church, PO Box 189, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
